Thank you to Cowra Rugby Club, its committee, and volunteers for hosting the Central West Junior Rugby Grand Finals. It is always a massive task, and your hard work and commitment are greatly appreciated.
A special thank you to Choppy and Jason for their outstanding contributions to another successful year of rugby in the Central West. Thank you also to the Central West Junior Rugby Committee for the countless hours you dedicate behind the scenes to make our competition what it is.
Congratulations to all the referees and assistant referees selected for Grand Final day. Your efforts throughout the season and your professionalism today are greatly appreciated.
Congratulations to the Mudgee Wombats for being represented in all three grades, the Orange Emus Black U12s, and the Dubbo Roos Blues U16s for earning their place in the big dance. Having watched these teams throughout the season, I know they have all played some outstanding rugby. I wish every player, coach, and supporter a fantastic day of competitive, skilful rugby that showcases just how strong and exciting the Central West competition is.
To the Mighty Forbes Platypi U14s, congratulations on a terrific season and on reaching today’s Grand Final. Enjoy every moment that comes with playing in a Grand Final. You have all worked incredibly hard and made many sacrifices to get this far. Your club and the wider Forbes community are immensely proud of each and every one of you.

On behalf of Emus Rugby Club, congratulations to all players, coaches, managers, volunteers and families involved in this year’s Central West Junior Rugby Union Grand Finals.
Grand Final day is a great reward for the work that goes in across an entire season, but more importantly, it is a celebration of junior rugby across our region.
We have had an outstanding year at Emus. Seeing so many kids pulling on an Emus jersey each weekend, families enjoying being around the club, and our young players developing both on and off the field has been incredibly rewarding.
We are particularly proud to have our U12 Black side representing Emus on Grand Final day. It has been over 6 years since our club was represented on Junior Grand Final Day which makes this extra special. They have earned their opportunity through a terrific season and, regardless of the result, should be extremely proud of what they have achieved together.
The U12 competition across Central West this year has been outstanding. The closeness of the competition, the quality of rugby and the number of genuinely competitive games each weekend has been fantastic to see. We also congratulate Mudgee Blue on an outstanding undefeated season. They have set the benchmark all year and we look forward to a great contest on Grand Final Day. It has been a great advertisement for junior rugby and a credit to the players, coaches and clubs involved.
Junior rugby is at its best when it is competitive on the field, welcoming off it, and ultimately about kids loving the game and wanting to come back again next year. That is something I believe all of our Central West clubs will continue to work hard towards.

Dubbo Junior Rugby Club would like to thank the Central West CEO and Staff for their efforts throughout the season to give our kids the opportunity to play Rugby Union. We also thank all of the volunteers across all clubs in our Central West community and especially all of the mums, dads and carers that make our games happen.
